David is responsible for all operations in the Americas with a focus on the United States. He will be a key factor in the introduction of new products and strategies in these markets. Prior to joining Totara, David was involved in the technology marketplace for over 25 years and has held senior leadership roles at GP Strategies Corporation, SkyMall, and Greenleaf Technologies.

Michael Maurath

Vice president government & public sector

Michael Maurath serves as the Vice President of the Public Sector for Totara Learning Inc. With 18 years of experience in the Learning & Development industry, he has held a number of positions servicing dozens of Federal agencies. In his current position, Michael is responsible for the growth and strategic direction of TotaraGov, Totara’s FedRAMP Authorized Learning Management System tailored to the Public Sector.

Marc Benton

Director, Public Sector Practice

Marc Benton is the Director of the Public Sector Practice at Totara, Inc., leading the delivery of FedRAMP-certified learning solutions to government agencies. With extensive experience in Public Sector, Commercial, and Non-Profit sales, he ensures Totara’s products meet strict security and compliance standards. His leadership has driven the successful adoption of Totara’s secure and scalable LMS solutions. With over 15 years in adult learning, Marc previously served as E-Learning Program Manager at the National Education Association.
